3. European Union / EEA consumers — 14-day withdrawal right

EU/EEA consumers normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal for online purchases. Because a 10min TOCFL subscription is a digital service whose delivery starts immediately when you subscribe, at checkout we ask for your express consent to immediate performance and your acknowledgement that you thereby lose the 14-day right of withdrawal — via a separate checkbox you must actively tick before payment — and we confirm this to you by email. If you do not give that consent, the subscription simply starts after the 14-day period, or you may withdraw within 14 days by emailing us and receive a full refund (less a proportionate amount for service already provided, where applicable).

(7-day cooling-off period)

Summary in English: under Taiwan's Consumer Protection Act, the default 7-day cooling-off period does not apply to digital services delivered immediately, provided we inform you and obtain your consent at checkout — which we do via a required checkbox before your first payment.
